Shipping policy

1. Shipping Regions & Methods
We ship our reusable ice bag system across Canada and Internationally, though shipping costs, carriers and delivery times vary depending on your location.
- Standard shipping within Canada will be calculated at checkout based on real-time carrier rates.
- International shipping rates (outside Canada) are likewise calculated based on carrier tariffs and destination.
- Shipping cost is a one-time cost per order — no hidden fees — we believe in transparent pricing for our durable, premium product.
2. Order Processing & Tracking
- Orders placed on our website will be processed within 1-2 business days unless otherwise noted (e.g., during holidays or stock-outs).
- Once your order is shipped, we will send you an email with tracking information so you can monitor delivery every step of the way.
- Please allow for standard transit times. Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.
3. Free Shipping Threshold & Promotional Offers
- We may offer free standard shipping for domestic orders above a specified order value (for example: “free standard shipping on Canada orders over $X”).
- Free-shipping promotions apply only to standard shipping carriers, not expedited or special delivery services unless explicitly stated.
4. Duties, Taxes & Additional Charges
- All prices on our site are shown in [CAD] for Canadian customers and appropriate currency for international customers.
- For international orders, customs duties, import taxes or other local charges may apply. These fees are your responsibility unless otherwise stated.
- Shipping cost shown at checkout covers only carrier freight — duties/taxes are additional.
5. Shipping Delays & Exceptions
- During peak periods (holiday seasons, major promotions) processing and shipping may take longer than the standard 1-2 business days.
- We do our best to avoid delays, but cannot guarantee carrier transit times.
- If you do not receive tracking updates within a reasonable time, please contact our Customer Support team at support@north-ice.ca.
6. Lost, Stolen or Damaged Shipments
- Once the carrier confirms delivery to the shipping address you provided, risk of loss passes to you.
- If your package is marked delivered but never received, please contact the carrier and our support team so we can assist with the claim.
- If your order arrives damaged, please take photo evidence of the packaging and contents and contact us within 5 days of delivery. We will review and determine appropriate next steps (replacement or refund) based on the case.
7. Changes or Cancellations
- If you need to modify or cancel your order prior to shipment, please contact us immediately at sales@north-ice.ca; we will do our best to assist, but cannot guarantee changes once the order has shipped.
- If the order has already shipped, our standard return & refund policy will apply.
